Alex Foda

In pursuit of his passion for health and science, Alex Foda founded Bon Better Snacks, blending his expertise in finance with his dedication to wellness.

Alex began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill's M&A practice in California, followed by a move to Private Equity with GIC in New York City. Despite the demands of his work, he maintained a strong commitment to fitness, placing in the top 10 of his age group in an Ironman 70.3, earning second place overall in a 50-mile ultra-marathon, and completing a 100-mile ultra-marathon—experiences that fueled him to create a meaningful impact in the health space.

Born in Switzerland to an Egyptian father and a German-Egyptian mother, Alex’s global upbringing took him through France, the Middle East, and the U.S., where he gained a broad perspective through the French schooling system. With a love for science and a drive for entrepreneurship, he pursued a degree in finance and economics at McGill University.

Romain Boursier

With a drive for innovation and excellence, Romain Boursier has built a distinguished career in project and business development, backed by extensive experience in operations management within the resilient and energy-efficient housing sector. As Head of Operations at Bon Better Snacks, Romain channels his competitive spirit into optimizing distribution and retail shelving strategies, positioning the brand to outpace the competition.

Romain earned a degree in Finance and Real Estate Development from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Canada. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded SCIP Solutions LLC, where he consults and trains general contractors and their teams on the efficient construction of Structural Concrete Insulated Panel (SCIP) projects.

During his college years, Romain developed a passion for No Limit Texas Hold'em poker, a game that profoundly shaped his approach to life and business. The lessons he learned—embracing calculated risk for meaningful rewards, mastering fundamentals and strategy, and gaining critical insights into human psychology and behavior—continue to inform his professional journey and leadership style.

Alex Ionesco

Known for his hard work, discipline, and structured approach, Alex Ionesco brings his experience as a collegiate athlete with his expertise in coaching to the Bon Better Snacks team.

As a strength and conditioning coach, basketball coach, and skill development trainer in the Houston area, Alex is committed to helping athletes unlock their full potential both on and off the court. In his free time, Alex is a dedicated athlete, mainly balancing weightlifting, basketball, and running.

Born in France to a Romanian-French father and a French mother, Alex’s journey brought him to the U.S., where he discovered his passion for basketball. After completing high school, he pursued a postgraduate year in preparation for collegiate athletics. Alex went on to play NCAA Division 1 basketball at Stetson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. He later completed a Master of Science in Sport Management from Southern Methodist University.

Driven by his passion for health and wellness, Matthieu Ionesco leads the marketing efforts at Bon Better Snacks, using his creative expertise to inspire healthier lifestyles.

Matthieu’s career began in the corporate world, where he gained experience in construction and recruiting. His true passion for storytelling, however, led him to found Ionize Studios, a video production company dedicated to impactful content. Now at Bon Better Snacks, Matthieu channels this passion to craft engaging marketing strategies, helping introduce nutritious and innovative products to the market.

Born in Ermont, France, to a French mother and Romanian father, Matthieu moved to the U.S. in 2009 and later earned an international studies degree with a focus in economics from Texas A&M University. Outside of work, he keeps active through daily workouts and basketball. A unique element of his journey is working alongside his brother, Alex Ionesco—a prospect Matthieu is especially excited about as he embraces the path ahead in promoting wellness for all.

Indra brings a proven track record in sales and project management, having led multi-million-dollar initiatives in industries ranging from Oil & Gas to startups. With a sharp eye for strategy and robust negotiation skills, he approaches every challenge with the same discipline and determination he applies to his athletic pursuits.

An accomplished athlete, Indra has completed an Ironman 70.3, a 50-mile ultramarathon, and a last-man-standing backyard ultra—all in 2024. His love for fitness and high-performance nutrition makes him a natural advocate for Bon Better Snacks’ mission of empowering healthier lifestyles.

Born in Missouri to an American mother and Senegalese father, Indra’s multicultural heritage and tri-national background (American, French, and Senegalese) shape his inclusive perspective. Holding a Business Management degree from UTSA, he is driven to create products that celebrate diversity while promoting health and wellness for all.

Dante Herrera

Combining his rich cultural heritage from Mexico and Canada with a strong academic foundation in International Relations, Dante leads International Operations at Bon Better Snacks.

Before discovering his passion for running in 2022, Dante excelled in the wine industry as a top sommelier and wine consultant in one of Canada’s premier gastronomical cities. His journey into triathlon began as a complete beginner, yet he quickly embraced the challenge, racing in four Ironman 70.3 events and achieving a top 10 finish in each. Now, he is focused on competing in his first full Ironman distance, with the ambitious goal of qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in 2025.

As a high-performance athlete, Dante understands the critical role nutrition plays before, during, and after training. This insight drives his commitment to Bon Better Snacks, where he aims to create products that support athletes in their quest for optimal performance and wellness.
